Fête de la musique 2024 - Call for Artists

MUSIC BY THE PEOPLE - FOR THE PEOPLE

For years now, Fête de la musique (International Music Day) has been celebrated in Malaysia and spearheaded by Alliance Française de Kuala Lumpur. Be it at AFKL, REXKL, Publika or all around Chinatown, Fête de la musique has always been a huge success!

In 2024, we will be back with live performances – to do so, we are calling on all talented artists living in Klang Valley to be part of the line-up (3-4 songs per group, equivalent to 20-30 min).

A RM100 compensation, a bottle of water and snacks will be provided per person on stage as a token of appreciation.

All production and communication of the event will be the responsibility of the organisers.

Fête de la musique will take place on Sunday 23rd June, 2024 at Titiwangsa Park in Kuala Lumpur, conveying the French spirit of this celebration which is all about busking and intergenerational gatherings!
