Are you ready to take your French to the next level while experiencing authentic French culture? Alliance Française de Kuala Lumpur invites students aged 18 and above to join our Immersion in France Programme 2026 in partnership with Alliance Française de Normandie.

📅  Programme Periods (subject to confirmation):

  • End of August 2026 (29th August - 7th September 2026)

 Destinations: Paris & Normandy
Accommodation: With carefully selected French host families (9 nights, 10 days, breakfast & dinner included)
All French levels welcome! (Beginners to advanced)

Programme Fees

1450 € (RM 6900), excluding flight tickets. 

This includes:

  • Hostel stay in Paris (1 night) with breakfast and dinner
  • Accommodation in Rouen (8 nights) with breakfast and dinner provided by the host family
  • Cultural excursions + transport to excursions
  • Airport pick-up and return

Not included:

  • Flight tickets
  • Lunches (10 - 15 €/day)
  • Metro tickets in Paris (less than 10 €/day)
  • Personal expenses not covered in the program
  • Bus tickets for any external excursion

  • Visa application fees and arrangements (if applies)

Programme Highlights

  • 20 hours of French language classes (weekday mornings at AF Normandie) – with course materials included
  • Group transport for round-trip airport transfers and excursions.
  • Accommodation with host families, including breakfast and dinner. 

Cultural & Excursion Activities

  • An introductory day and evening in Paris: Eiffel Tower, Bateau-Mouches cruise, Montmartre & the Louvre
  • Guided city tour of Rouen, Normandy
  • Visit to the Musée des Beaux-Arts
  • Excursion to Honfleur (Old Port Visit) or Giverny (Claude Monet's Gardens)
  • Patisserie workshop with a French chef
  • Full-day trip to Mont Saint-Michel
  • Exploration of the Historial Jeanne d’Arc

Procedures and Registration Form

✅  Procedures for Immersion in France

Alliance Française Kuala Lumpur (AFKL) & Alliance Française de Normandie

Step 1: Registration & Initial Deposit 

  • Expression of Interest / Pre-Registration:
    • Students submit their registration form to AFKL. 
    • AFKL shares the confirmed program details, schedule, and payment terms.
    • Registration is not considered complete until the deposit is paid.
  • Initial Deposit – RM3,500 :
    • This deposit secures the student’s place in the Immersion in France program and covers program-related administrative costs.
    • This amount is deducted from the total program fee.


  • Available Online Payment Methods:
  1. FPX (online bank transfers)
  2. Credit/Debit Cards
  3. Atome (3-month split payments)
  4. Grab PayLater
  • AFKL staff are available to assist with setup or guidance on any of the digital payment options.

Step 2: Flight Arrangements

  • International flight tickets are not included in the program fee.
  • AFKL will contact participants separately to share recommended flight details and coordination guidelines to ensure group travel alignment.
  • Flight bookings will be made directly by participants with assistance from AFKL's representative.

Step 3: Study Program Second Payment – 

Second Payment (Due 2 months before trip):

  • Final installment for the remaining program balance.
  • The remaining balance will be collected at a later date, closer to departure.
  • Please note that the final amount of the second payment may be adjusted according to the EUR/MYR exchange rate at the time of payment.
  • Any variation due to currency fluctuations will be communicated clearly before payment is requested.
  • Non-refundable once paid.

Invoices & Receipts:

  • AFKL will issue formal invoices before each payment deadline.
  • Official receipts are provided upon payment confirmation.

Step 4: Final Preparations & Departure

 Pre-Departure Briefing :

A compulsory briefing for students covering:

  1. Cultural etiquette and local norms
  2. Travel and airport procedures
  3. Communication with host families and local coordinators
  4. Emergency guidelines

Travel Documents :

  • Students must have valid passports (min. 6 months validity).
  • Travel insurance is highly encouraged, but not mandatory. 
  • AFKL will assist in preparing travel documents and flight information.
  • Kindly verify visa requirements applicable to your nationality before travel.

Can you confirm your availability for the proposed dates of 29 August – 7 September 2026 (with a tentative flight from KL on 28 August) and indicate if you would still be able to attend should the program dates shift slightly within August–September 2026?
