Join us for an illuminating evening with Alexandra Novosseloff, doctor of political science and specialist in
geopolitics, multilateralism, and the workings of the United Nations. Drawing on her acclaimed publications and her long-standing research
into bridges, enclaves, and the political meaning of borders, Alexandra will present key insights on how territories shape
international relations
and the practice of diplomacy today.
The presentation will focus on her books and explore:
The role of territorial and institutional “bridges” in global cooperation
How enclaves and contested spaces influence multilateral decision-making
The evolving functions of the United Nations in an era of shifting sovereignties, with a special reflection on the UN’s 80th
anniversary
A conversation and audience Q&A will follow the talk — an opportunity to discuss
ideas and ask questions. Suitable for anyone interested in geopolitics, international law, urban and border studies, or contemporary
diplomacy.
