A1 - Basic 1
Basic 1 & 2 | Semi-Intensive
Intensive course
With this class, you will smoothly start your journey into the French language.
Be ready to study 6 hours per week for 8 weeks!
With the semi-intensive classes, you can reach level A1 in 3 months.
For this class, you will need to use the textbook (Cosmopolite 1). Please untick the box here below only if you

With this class, you will smoothly start your journey into the French language.
Choose the schedule that suits you (Saturdays or weekday evenings) and be ready to study 3 hours per week for 8 weeks!
With the extensive classes, you can reach level A1 in 6 months. It is available Hyflex (you can choose to attend directly at our Lorong Gurney center or online).

Our intensive full-time French program is designed to take you from beginner to advanced at lightning speed! With up to 5 hours of daily
group classes, access to a dedicated online platform with tutors, and 30 minutes of personalized private tuition each week, this program
places special emphasis on communication skills to help you interact confidently in real-world situations. Additionally, we offer targeted
remediation to address your specific challenges and ensure steady progress.

A1 LEVEL: This A1 class includes more than 103 hours of
study in 4 weeks:
- 85 hours of class to study the A1 programme
- 10 hours of practice
- 2 hours of private tuition (4 x 30 minutes)
- 12+ hours of work on our tutored platform
- self-study modules to catch up missed classes
Schedule:
From Tuesday to Friday:
- from 9am to 12.30pm (with a 30 minutes break)
- from 1.30pm to 3.30pm
- 30 minutes a week of private tuition during the week

This class is Hyflex. It means that the teacher will be in the classroom in our Lorong Gurney Center, and you can choose to attend each day
online or onsite.

Whether you are a French beginner or someone who studied the language a while back, this course will offer you valuable linguistic and
cultural insights tailored for tourist scenarios. If you aspire to build solid foundations and eventually master French in the
future, we recommend you to explore our regular classes, such as our Basic 1 classes for beginners.

Note: As we are an association, all our students have to become members of AFKL (except for the workshops "Pronunciation"
and "Préparation DELF").
Annual membership of RM100 will be added to your quotation, should you not be a member already or should your membership have expired.
