Alliance Française de Kuala Lumpur is thrilled to announce that Fête de la Musique, the vibrant celebration originating from France, is back for its second round in Titiwangsa Lake, KL!

Mark your calendars for Saturday the 28th, as we come together once again to revel in the joy of live music and the spirit of togetherness.

La Fête de la Musique, also known as World Music Day, is an annual event that celebrates the universal language of music and its unique ability to bring people from all walks of life together.

We strongly encourage you to use public transport due to traffic congestion around the lake. 

MRT Hospital KL: Exit from Pintu B Jalan Kuantan to exit to the park. Head towards Stadium Titiwangsa, the closest entrance is opposite the stadium. 

Out of respect for local cultures and community guidelines, alcohol consumption is not permitted within the park.

🎤 Here’s who’s lighting up the stage at Fête de la Musique!

Faye Faire is a folk-rock band whose debut album In My Mind gained national acclaim for its lyrical depth and harmonies. Their music, rooted in love, loss, and Indigenous rights, has taken them from KL to major festivals. Influences include The Beatles and boygenius, and their set will feature original songs, as well as a surprise French classic!

Formed in June 2024, Motion is a rising indie band of five talented teens (ages 14 to 20), led by Jordan Ezra, Malaysia’s youngest composer and producer with a solo album in the record books! Joined by Brandon, Aedric, Aiden, and Shawn, they bring cinematic energy and a bold, fresh sound to the stage.

Malaysian-Italian artist Marco George blends pop, rock, rap, and psychedelia into vivid, cinematic music. Largely self-taught, he draws from film, theatre, and influences like U2 and Bon Jovi. Whether solo with a loop pedal or with a band, Marco delivers passionate, genre-crossing performances.

Shadow Puppet Theatre delivers rock with powerful storytelling and sharp musicianship. Since 2016, they’ve gained global traction with albums like John Doe and tracks like Codename Summer. Their dynamic live sets and emotional sound have earned critical praise and international airplay.

This six-member Malaysian collective brings explosive cultural energy through their NuFusion Ethnomusicology style. Since 2015, they’ve electrified stages from Borneo Jazz Festival to La Fête de la Musique. Fusing traditional roots with modern sound, their shows are rhythmic, joyful, and unforgettable.

Oya Suria, a talented singer invited by DBKL, will charm the crowd with several songs, including Die with a Smile and Tragedi Buah Epal.

Stephen Borgovini, ex-Fun Lovin’ Criminals drummer, brings gritty Americana to life as C.C. Jones. Mixing blues, rock, and raw storytelling, he now performs across Asia with his band, the C.C. Jones Revival. Expect soul-stirring tales of love, loss, and redemption wrapped in Southern swagger.

Invited by DBKL, Mat Jinggo, known for his soulful voice and charismatic stage presence, will perform Aku Penghibur, Autumn Leaves, and La Bamba, blending local flair with international classics.

With a vibrant mix of Latin, local, and funk classics, Farhan, invited by DBKL, will perform Mas Que Nada, Sinaran, and Ain’t Nobody.

With a deep love for French chanson, Haiqal brings a Francophone flair to every performance. Trained in French linguistics, his tribute set to icons like Johnny Hallyday and Dato’ Shake features stirring vocals and saxophone-backed arrangements. A heartfelt celebration of French classics with a Malaysian soul.

Dara-Isabelle Mathieu, known as Harmony, is an 18-year-old French-Malaysian singer-songwriter. A self-taught pianist and guitarist, she blends both cultures in soulful, heartfelt music. Currently finishing school at Lycée Français KL, she’ll soon pursue music abroad. She performs her original Masing-masing and Indila’s Dernière danse.

Floret, an indie band from Selangor, crafts emotive tracks about love and growing up. Founded in 2020 by Hanif and Zikri, they soon grew into a full lineup that brought their heartfelt sound to KL’s gig scene. Their music aims to connect, inspire, and move hearts.

Malaysian singer-songwriter Tim Lim infuses faith and inspiration into his heartfelt music. With a growing body of work, he is a rising name in the local indie scene, sharing songs of resilience and personal growth while connecting with fans through behind-the-scenes stories online.


This KL-based alt-rock band channels raw emotion into grunge-inspired soundscapes. Formed in late 2023, their debut album Mute explores themes like grief and identity through moody instrumentals and vulnerable lyrics. Songs like White Room and Apathetic Strays strike deep, introspective chords.
