Photos Inouïes Photography Exhibition by Poesy Liang & KC Lim
“Dis-moi dix mots” is a French-language initiative that celebrates the richness and evolving creativity of the French language through the selection of ten inspiring words from the dictionary each year. For this edition, the theme “d’un monde d'avenir” invites us to reflect on the future — on hope, transformation, innovation, and the world we are shaping together.
Presented by Stéphane Lam and Le Pavillon Rouge des Arts (HK), this exhibition brings the ten selected words to life through a compelling series of photographs by photographers, Poesy Liang & KC Lim. Each image interprets a word visually, offering a poetic and thought-provoking dialogue between language and imagery. Through this creative exploration, visitors are invited to rediscover the power of words — not only as tools of communication, but as seeds of imagination capable of shaping a future world.

About the photographers :
Poesy Liang is a contemporary artist and award-winning social innovator based in Kuala Lumpur. Her multidisciplinary practice spans painting, design, composition, poetry, and immersive installations that combine visual art, music, and sensory experiences. She founded The RTC (Rooftop Cats), an independent art space and residency programme. Since 2011, cats have symbolised her imaginative lens on the world, inspiring her recent explorations into photography.
KC Lim is a practising interior designer with a deep engagement in the arts. Raised in Penang amid living heritage and multicultural surroundings, he is fascinated by how spaces age and tell stories. Trained in light, texture, and proportion, he explores the dialogue between structure and softness, permanence and decay. His work bridges design and visual expression, translating spatial experiences into emotive visual narratives.
