Écrire en français Exhibition By AF Paris

The "Écrire en français : Histoire de langues, voyages de mots" exhibition, organized by the Alliance Française de Paris, highlights the richness and diversity of Francophone literature by showcasing the journeys of 100 authors from around the world who have chosen French as their language of expression.

Through carefully selected quotations from their works and exclusive written, and vivid portraits illustrated by Raphaëlle Macaron, the exhibition immerses visitors in the personal and literary landscapes of these writers. It explores the themes of identity, language, and cultural exchange, demonstrating how French has become a tool for storytelling and communication beyond its geographical origins.

Curated by Bernard Magnier, in collaboration with Sabyl Ghoussoub, this exhibition offers a captivating journey through the voices of contemporary and historical authors, celebrating the power of words and the diversity of Francophone literature across continents.

Dis-moi dix mots d’un monde à avenir Tell Me Ten Words for a Future World “Dis-moi dix mots” is a French-language initiative that celebrates the richness and evolving creativity of the French language through the selection of ten inspiring words from the dictionary each year. For this edition, the theme “d’un monde à avenir” invites us to reflect on the future — on hope, transformation, innovation, and the world we are shaping together. Presented by the Red Pavilion of Arts in Hong Kong, this exhibition brings the ten selected words to life through a compelling series of photographs. Each image interprets a word visually, offering a poetic and thought-provoking dialogue between language and imagery. Through this creative exploration, visitors are invited to rediscover the power of words — not only as tools of communication, but as seeds of imagination capable of shaping a future world.
