The Right to be Seen by Greater Action
AFKL is delighted to invite you to “The Right to Be Seen”, an art exhibition by Greater Action, bringing together Afghan refugee artists and international artists in a powerful dialogue of art, identity, and expression.
Organised by Greater Action Art Gallery in collaboration with Alliance Française de Kuala Lumpur, and curated by Natalia Peraita, this exhibition runs from April 9 to 12 and features a dynamic programme of artistic encounters and experiences.
Exhibition Launch
Thursday, 9 April, from 6PM
- Official opening of the exhibition “The Right to Be Seen”
- Poetry reading by Afghan artist Masuma Tavakoli and German writer and poet Inga Maria Panten
- Upcycled fashion and fashion show
- Bar opening by AFKL and food served by Greater Action.
