[WORKSHOP] ONLINE EVENT : INTRODUCTION TO WEBCOMICS

Workshop description

Come spend the day with Eisner-nominated author-illustrator Reimena Yee as she introduces you to the big and artistically diverse world of webcomics – comics that are serialised and distributed online. She will explain the various types of webcomics, the tools and platforms available online across the world, and how webcomics' increasing popularity has changed the landscape of media and the publishing industry.

 
All beginners, semi-professionals and professionals aged above 16 years old are welcome!

Short bio
Reimena Yee is a strange and fancy graphic novelist and illustrator. She is the author of several webcomics, including the first Eisner-nominated Malaysian webcomic The Carpet Merchant of Konstantiniyya, and several graphic novels for young readers.
