AFKL offer classes from 18 months to 9 years old, in 3 different age groups.
Group courses run for one term in one of our centres.
Our programmes are well-structured in order to achieve specific goals, but our main purpose is for each class to be great, fun and
interactive so that children will enjoy joining them each week and develop a real love for French language.

Kindly take note that we are quite strict on age groups: each of them has been especially designed by our talented team to answer
exactly the cognitive and affective development of your children.
Our teachers also adapt themselves to the specific needs of each child and each group.

Learning a new language at an early age makes it easier and faster, thanks to the
young brain capacities and fewer inhibitions. It also helps to stimulate a child’s curiosity, makes them more open-minded and tolerant
of diversity and improves their problem solving skills and creativity.

A great and interactive programme to study French Thanks to our interactive approach and the structure of French textbooks, children will improve their
four language skills: listening, speaking, reading and writing… in French! Games, artcraft, songs and storytelling will still be
used in class, as these are the best children’s ways of learning.
Our main goals are for them to enjoy their journey in both French language and culture and to slowly
become autonomous in their use of the language.
An internationally recognized framework for languages Our curriculum follows the levels A1 and A2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for
Languages. The methodology, pace of learning , teaching materials and topics are especially designed for young learners, in order to
enhance their interest and motivation.

In this class, your child will start his/her journey into the French language! Kids will discover the French alphabet, the colors, numbers
from 0 to 10, class stationeries, some games and the days of the week. They will also learn how to say their name, tell how they are, sing
and play!

- talk about food and drinks, say what they want to eat and drink

In this class, your children will learn how to:
- describe something
- give an order
- talk about the weather
- tell where they are going
- explain where something is
- describe their clothes
Your children have now studied all the basics of French and can start the Intermediate A2 programme! They will slowly discover how to better express themselves, talk about past and future, learn more vocabulary...

Theatre
Each of us has their own unique little habits, wishes, problems and moments of happiness. Some things get on our nerves, others intrigue us
and there are some things we alter or invent to bring more colors and magic to our everyday lives.
Much like gold diggers, we will go look for these gems inside us and bring them out. Through theatrical games, the children will develop
their creativity and imagination, explore their memories and emotions, improve their self-confidence in oral expression… but most of all,
they will have fun in French!

Join us for a delicious and flavourful week!
Your child will embark for a France tour and it might be their yummiest journey ever! Not only will they discover some French regional
cuisine, but also learn cultural facts about the places they are visiting. To each day its own recipe, fun activities and surprises! Our
little chefs will master delicious sweet and savoury specialities. It’s the perfect workshop for little foodies and those curious to know
more about French regions and culture.

French classes for French-speaking children schooled in another language in Kuala Lumpur
This class is specifically designed for fluent children (6-8 yo only) that already know how to read and write in English.
The aim is to give them enough tools to learn the written French as well as progress in their specific use of vocabulary and grammar.

Ready for your child to start something new in 2023? Come and discover our interactive and fun French classes for Beginners!
Your child will start their French journey with the most original methods! They will play detective, solving mysteries while discovering
the basics of the French language. It's a perfect opportunity for them to have fun while educating themselves! The teachers prepared
sessions full of surprises to enhance the students’ motivation to learn and for them to develop a real love for French language.
This week 2 is a continuation of Week 1. Please contact us if your child didn't attend the Week 1 - if they aren't a
beginner in French, they might be able to join!
If your child enjoyed this introduction to French, they will be most welcomed to join our Saturday classes later, as they are following
the same curriculum.

Note: As we are an association, all our students have to become members of AFKL.
Annual membership of RM100 will be added to your quotation, should you not be a member already or should your membership have expired. Depending
on your class, you may have to buy a book set, including a textbook and an exercise book.
